At Peek-A-Boo After School Center, your child will have fun and it is a promise. Our center offers the following activities :

- Arts & Crafts
With a long counter and never ending supplies, children can create amazing arts&crafts to take home.

- Library Corner
In a very warm setting, children can browse through English & French books, magazines. We also have music for them to make sure they can relax.

- Free Play
With blocks, cars, magnets and different toys, children get to play together in a very friendly environment.

- Puzzles & Board Games
Many games & puzzles are available!

- Sports Games
We have a bowling game, air hockey table & a ping pong table!

- Computers
Our section has 2 computers with high speed internet. Perfect to do your homework or play computer games.

- Video Games
With the parents permission, children can play different video games. We have a X-Box 306, Wii, Game Cube and more.

HELPING HANDS PROJECT

In 2007, we have started a new project to help others. Every month, Peek-A-Boo After School Center donates $50 to a charity or good cause on the Miramichi. Instead of just giving the money away, we make sure the children get involved and learn the importance of sharing and giving.

In October 2007, we had a screening of the movie "Meet the Robinsons". We raised $100 for the Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation.

In December 2007, the children learnt about the importance of giving during Christmas time. Together, we made 18 different bags filled with necessities and they were given to people in need through The Salvation Army.

In February 2008, it's all about the abandoned animals! We are working with the SPCA to learn more about how to take good care of our pets and we will have the chance to visit the shelter and help make a difference.

PEN PALS

We have pen pals from Alberta & Poland! It is the perfect way to learn more about different countries and cultures.
